Cassie is originally from Boston, MA, and was later raised in South Florida. Growing up she was a fiercely competitive athlete, dabbling in gymnastics, volleyball, and lacrosse, but eventually finding her true passion in soccer. She lead her collegiate women’s soccer team as the starting goalie at New York University for the entirety of her four years and was named captain her senior campaign. She graduated from NYU in 2017 with a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics. Through her experiences in soccer and in her studies, Cassie learned just how intertwined the body, identity and sports truly are. She found that Tone House was the perfect transition out of her soccer career. For her, Tone House replicates the incomparable sense of unity that comes with sweating and making sacrifices alongside your teammates on the Turf. Cassie is now enrolled in New York University’s M.S. program for Dietetic Internship and Clinical Nutrition. In the future, she hopes to pursue work in the realm of athlete-related eating disorders or performance-related nutrition.
