Raised in Queens, NY, Alex loved playing sports such as baseball, basketball, and soccer. In high school, he discovered his affinity for running while being part of the cross country and track teams. Eventually, he focused on short/mid distance sprints, specializing in the 400-meter individual and SMR leg. After a serious injury at the tail end of his high school tenure, Alex started exercising more with weights and lifting, trying to stay active despite the lack of mobility. Shortly after graduating Fordham University with a degree in Economics and Mathematics, Alex applied as a client operations employee at Tone House 17th Street in July 2014. He fell in love with the workout, being blown away by how the Tone House workout felt more like team practice rather than a standard boutique-studio class. A few months into working, Alex signed with Wilhelmina Models Sports and Fitness Division. After a year at Tone House, Alex accepted a position in Finance where he worked for 3 years. Feeling unfulfilled in the finance field, Alex decided to return back to the Turf, Tone House, where he looks to push his peers past their limits and help those around him achieve their goals and then some.
